This 6-week livestream course will give you an awareness and understanding of the innate wisdom held within your body.

In this online course, you will be guided through a holistic approach to anatomy and physiology, exploring the relationship between mind, body and spirit. Alongside profound insights on and experiences of the mind-body-spirit connection, you’ll discover inner resources that you can draw on for support and grounding to help you navigate life’s transitions and changes.

Course topics include:

• Cell as microcosm, earth as macrocosm
• Physiology of the felt sense of touch, muscle memory and gut instinct
• Bones as a resource for inner support
• Physiology of stress and ease
• Nature-nurture and epigenetics
• Mirror neurons and empathy

To place these topics in context, we will look at the nervous, muscular, skeletal and digestive systems. You will be shown how to embody anatomical theory as we weave these concepts together with experiential exercises, mindfulness, gentle movement and self-reflection. We will also consider the similarities and connections between body and earth e.g. bones of the body and stones of the earth. This will deepen and enliven your relationship to self, others and nature.

If you wish to invest in your self-care or are interested in developing your practice as a healer or body worker, then this course is for you. A certificate of attendance will be given to those who attend all sessions of the course.
